Kidiocus King-Carroll is an Assistant Professor of African & African Diaspora Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where his research and teaching focus on Black and queer lived experiences in the Midwest. His work draws on critical theory, cultural history, and personal narrative to explore often-overlooked geographies of Black life.
